Too many cool middle grade fantasy series were swallowed by Pottermania, and this week is one of them: The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine. Lindsay wants to make it a heartfelt pastoral adventure where a young girl learns to believe in herself! We also yell at Disney for causing good art to happen, despite the horrors.
